Welcome to Woodmaa. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (the “Site”) and any purchases made through it. By accessing our Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

1. General Conditions

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Woodmaa SARL regarding your use of the Site.

2. Products and Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products accurately, including descriptions, dimensions, materials, and photographs. However, as each item is handcrafted from natural wood:

• Natural variations in wood grain, colour, and texture are expected and are not considered defects
• Dimensions may vary slightly (within +/- 5 mm) from listed specifications
• Colours on screen may differ slightly from the actual product due to monitor settings
• Wood species and finish may exhibit unique characteristics inherent to the material

All product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. If you have questions about a specific item, please contact us before purchasing.

3. Pricing and Currency

All prices on our Site are displayed in MAD (Moroccan Dirham). Prices are clearly shown on each product page and in your shopping cart before checkout.

• There are no hidden fees. The total price shown at checkout is the final amount you pay, including any applicable taxes and shipping costs
• All applicable charges (product price, shipping, taxes) are itemised clearly before you confirm your order
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed
• In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel
• For international orders, the displayed MAD price is the charged amount; any currency conversion fees applied by your bank or card issuer are outside our control

4. Ordering and Payment

When you place an order through our Site:

• You add items to your cart and proceed to checkout
• You provide your billing and shipping information
• You are redirected to Stripe’s secure hosted checkout page to complete payment
• Upon successful payment, you are returned to our Site and receive an email confirmation with your order details

An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including stock availability, payment issues, or suspected fraud.

4.1 Payment Processing — Stripe Checkout

All payments are processed securely via Stripe Checkout, a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant hosted payment solution. When you proceed to pay, you are redirected to Stripe’s secure hosted checkout page. At no point does Woodmaa store, process, or have access to your full card details.

4.2 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following cards through Stripe Checkout:

• Visa
• Mastercard
• American Express (AMEX)
• Discover

All transactions are encrypted with SSL/TLS and handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details on our servers.

4.3 Payment Security

• Stripe is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of security certification in the payments industry
• All payment data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher encryption
• 3D Secure authentication is supported where required by your card issuer
• Our Site itself does not collect, transmit, or store card numbers, CVVs, or other sensitive payment data

7. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, Woodmaa may offer promotional discounts, discount codes, or special offers. The following conditions apply to all promotions unless otherwise stated:

• Discount codes must be entered at checkout before completing payment to apply
• Only one discount code may be used per order unless explicitly stated otherwise
• Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions or offers unless specified
• Promotions cannot be applied retroactively to previously placed or completed orders
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or end any promotion at any time without prior notice
• Free shipping promotions apply to standard domestic shipping within Morocco only, unless otherwise noted
• Discount codes are non-transferable and may not be sold, traded, or published on third-party coupon sites without our authorisation
• We reserve the right to void orders or revoke discounts if a code is used fraudulently or in violation of its stated terms

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our Site — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, designs, product photographs, illustrations, and software — is the property of Woodmaa SARL and is protected by Moroccan and international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission
• Use our branding, logos, or product images for any commercial purposes
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on our content
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract content from our Site
• Frame or embed our Site or its content within another website without authorisation

The Woodmaa name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Woodmaa SARL. Unauthorised use of any trademark displayed on the Site is strictly prohibited.

9. User Accounts

If you create an account on our Site, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use or security breach

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are involved in fraudulent activity.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Moroccan law:

• Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the specific product(s) at issue
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your reliance on product descriptions, images, or other content on the Site
• We make no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components

11. Legal and Export Restrictions

Woodmaa is committed to legal and ethical sourcing of all materials. The following applies to our products and international shipments:

• CITES Compliance: All wood used by Woodmaa is legally sourced and compliant with applicable CITES regulations
• Customs Duties and Import Taxes: For orders shipped outside Morocco, any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer
• Shipping Restrictions: It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify that our products can be legally imported into their country before placing an order
• Legal Sourcing: All timber and raw materials used in our products are obtained from legal and sustainable sources

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tangier, Morocco. Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
